About Red Mud

The Red Mud Review has been restored, 2023 edition! The Red Mud Review is a student-organized literary magazine published by Austin Peay State University. As the editors of The Red Mud Review, we eagerly open this space to anyone who is 18 or older to submit their writing or art. We look forward to immersing ourselves in your unique and inspiring submissions. As editors we look forward to discovering new authors and artists, but also are excited to read seasoned writers/artist's work. The journal accepts poetry, fiction, non-fiction/true stories, and visual art by students currently enrolled at APSU or who are writing in the Tennessee region.
